What about glorified handcuffs?

What I mean by this statement is that a -1 from a user and -1 from a staff member carry different weights. The reason for this is that a staff member already knows what the staffing experience requires and can judge whether or not the applicant has what it takes to be a staff member.

-1 Is this a joke? I know my vote won't count due to me not being staff, as said above being staff won't give you immunity to bullying, and the fact you looked over this and decided to post it doesn't make sense. I didn't even do this bad on my old application
