(DRP) Banned Base Design Examples

These are some examples of Banned Base Techniques, to see the full list view the (DRP) Rules
Feel free to reach out to staff members with questions about any of these examples.

GBB1. Killbox Base Designs are Not Allowed (Any box where the defender can shoot at the raider and the raider can't shoot back)

The base pictured above is a Failbase because the Defender is able to shoot at the raider at an angle where the raider cannot shoot back.

GBB2. Maze Base Designs are Not Allowed (Bases with long pathways that use the time it takes to get from door to door as the main defense)

The base pictured above is a Failbase because the main defense of the base is the amount of time it takes to get from door to door.

GBB3. Bases that make use of Angled Shooting Blinds are Not Allowed.

The base pictured above is a Failbase because the angle that the raider is using does not make the defender visible to the raider when the initial combat begins.

GBB4. The use of No-Collided Props in a base design is Not Allowed.

nocollideexample4.jpg
The base pictured above is a Failbase because the defender is making use of no collided props in their base design.

GBB5. The use of entities that cause AOE damage to deter raiders is Not Allowed.

There doesn't need to be an example for this, just make sure that the only way damage can be done in your base is by players.

GBB6. Base Designs that require a raider to crouch/jump through the loot pathway are Not Allowed.
jumpbaseexample.jpg
The base pictured above is a Failbase because the raider has to jump in this base design in order to get through the door pathway.

GBB7. Blackout/Texturized Base Designs that impede a raiders ability to navigate are Not Allowed.

blackoutexample.jpg
The base pictured above is a Failbase because the raider would not have clear information on where the shooting blinds and doors are inside of this base.

GBB9. Base Designs that make use of elevated walkways that are intentionally designed to make movement/navigation for a raider difficult are Not Allowed.

The base pictured above is a Failbase because the raiders ability to navigate is impeded based off the difficulty added to the raid from the thin walkways.
