> Hold down the "Q" button > Click the picture to select a prop. Use the folders on the left of the pictures to select different folders for props in-game.
Using Toolguns
(Go to the right hand side of your Q menu, click on a tool gun to use it) You'll notice that there are many different tool guns that you can use, shown below are quick run downs on how to use each one to put together a base. This section details how to use some of these tool guns in detail in order to make some better bases.
Precision Tool
Why Should I Use It? Precision tool is very useful when base building and can save you a lot of time. It is used to align props to the world and to move them around in a way that is more precise then just moving around your physgun.
How Do I Use It? Push/Pull - Press "R" to pull the object and "Right Click" to push the prop. The distance the prop moves is dependent on the push/pull amount that you set in the Q menu settings for the toolgun.
Check the boxes that say "Freeze Target" and "Auto-Align to World (nearest 45 degree)" - this will insure that your props stay frozen and are straightened out to the nearest 45deg. If you left click on the prop it will align it for you and it will be more accurate then the Physgun.
Apply - Directly apply settings to target
Rotate - turn an object with out moving it
Move - Snap objects together
Rotate - if you left click on the prop you would like to rotate it will become ghosted and you will be able to rotate it by moving your mouse left or right. Left click when you have it in the position you would like and it will freeze it in that spot.
Practical Uses Precision tool is a very useful toolgun to learn, you can use it to move, rotate, and snap props in a way that is much more precise than you could ever do with a physgun.

You can also use the fading doors tool with the keypad tool to put a keypad on your fading door.
