What time of the day (for you) are you usually on? I work night shifts so I tend to be on some time around 7pm-7am
Why do you want to be a part of the AtomicRP Staff Team? I've been playing on AtomicRP for a couple of days now with some friends and it's been a blast. That being said I have noticed that during the later hours of the night (2-7am EST) there seems to be a larger influx of people who come on just to cause trouble (RDM, MRDM, RDA, etc.) and I would like opportunity to help keep the server running smoothly at all times of the day. As a player I really enjoy creating fun RP scenarios and simply having fun with everyone on the server, but this fun can be very easily interrupted by one or two bad eggs. In short I love the community that's been fostered and I would like to be able to help protect that.
Why should you be accepted onto the AtomicRP Staff Team? While I don't have any experience staffing on any GMod servers, I do have experience managing both in my everyday life and in other games (Minecraft, not nearly the same as a DarkRP server but I thought it was worth mentioning). As for my real life I have 4 years of experience in both customer service and management. I worked at a Best Buy for 2 years as a "Home Solutions" manager, meaning I had about 10 staff members working under me. I also currently work as a security officer at my local casino so I'm very used to dealing with people who maybe don't have the best intentions, as well as being able to protect those who do. I think because of this experience on top of other real life scenarios, I've learned very advanced conflict resolution strategies as well as how to enforce punishments when needed. Lastly I just want to say I believe myself to be a very reasonable and approachable person which I think is an invaluable asset for a staff member to possess, the last thing we want is people to be afraid or intimidated by staff members to the point that they don't ask for help when needed.
Optional: Include any other information about yourself that you'd like the community and the management team to know about you. I've owned Gmod for probably 6 or 7 years now, hoping on now and again with some buddies just to mess around and play games whether it be Prop Hunt, TTT, etc. However I've always been drawn to DarkRP as it can be whatever you want it to be, and YOU can be whoever YOU want to be, and I think AtomicRP follows this perfectly. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to help maintain this level of freedom while keeping the server enjoyable for all players.
