I deleted the old thread because it was too complicated and lead to confusion.

Make Witchhunting based off Sexual Orientation, Gender, Race, or Ethnicity a Class IV Offense.

How the rule operates:
Players Witchhunting other players based solely off the characteristics already described will be punished with a Class IV instead of a Class III.
Players will be required to provide SOLID EVIDENCE to ban someone for Class IV Witchhunting, otherwise it is a Class III Witchhunting.

How the Rule Works in Practice
Bob is mad at sally for RDMing him so he places hits on her repeatedly
This would be a Class III Witchhunting and not Class IV because bob wasnt targeting Sally over gender.

Bob is mad at Sally because she is a girl and places hits on her repeatedly. Bob has never said anything to Sally.
This would be a Class III Witchhunting because Bobs true intentions can not be proved with any evidence.

Bob is mad at Sally because she is a girl and places hits on her repeatedly. Bob tells Sally that women shouldnt be allowed to game. Sally calls a sit but has no recording.
This would be a Class III Witchhunting because Bobs true intentions can not be proved with any evidence.

Bob is mad at Sally because she is a girl and places hits on her repeatedly. Bob tells Sally that women shouldnt be allowed to game. Sally records this and shows it to a moderator.
This would be a Class IV Witchhunting because Sally has evidence of Bob targeting her over gender.

Bob calls Sallys friends simps because she is an egirl and follows them around constantly, breaking NLR after being warned to leave. Sally records this and shows it to a moderator.
This would be a Class IV Witchhunting because Sally has evidence of Bob targeting her over gender.

there really isn't a way for someone to determine if it's based on one of the above reasons or not. Really the only way is if the person is saying something related to it which would already be classed as hate speech. People could easily be given a higher punishment when it is not deserved.
