Okay Shronk, Why the big thread?

I wanted to compile a lot of suggestions after playing on this community for almost three weeks straight, but I didn't wanna spam post.
Also i'm on GFUEL right now so i'm gonna try and do all this without being too cracked at making forum posts.

1. Disable Friendly-Fire between certain classes.

Say you're the mayor of the city, everything is going great, then boom. A PD member RDMs you.
There's no way to get the job back for 180 seconds, and then someone won the mayoral election off your RDM.

That big sucks.

So my idea? Disable Friendly-Fire on specific classes. Like PD cannot shoot other PD or the Mayor, as that would never be allowed.
Also the same for PD trying to handcuff other PD or Mayors.
It's big brain, and would circumvent a LOT of RDM / RDA reports.


2. Create a Casino Job.

As some of you know, CopsRule, myself, and a couple of others started the massive surge of plinko machines around downtown.

So I was thinking we should create an actual Casino Job with spawnable entities like Slot Machines, Roulette, Blackjack, you name it.
If the gambler wins, the Casino Manager pays out, if the gambler loses, it goes to the Casino Manager.
Obviously the Casino Manager won't be permitted to scam / steal, and are not allowed to do criminal activities (maybe allow them to have printers on the side to generate revenue?).

This would help balance the economy, and fuel my gambling addiction further.


3. Create an outlined and well-structured refund procedure for crashes / false removals / etc.

I've heard rumors that this will become a thing again, but basically creating a way to ask for a refund in occasions where the entity was destroyed without a proper reason, or if you had a weapon / item on you that got lost due to RDM / RDA.

I'd think having a video clip of you losing the item, or even creating logs for adding / removing items / weapons / entities via LUA so staff can validate a refund request.


4. Allow entities to stay if you're swapping to a job that allows those entities.

Ever wanted to switch from a Thief to a Gun Dealer, but if you did you'd lose all your printers?
Having a scripted check to see if the job supports certain entities before removing them when switching jobs is the way to go.
Also it literally already does this for Tip Jars, so it's possible for sure.


5. New Elections & Mayor Scripts

Being mayor is kinda boring and repetitive sometimes, I wish there were more things you could do as mayor.

A new elections UI that could show all the candidates at once would be pretty sick, here's one I found from the GMODStore.

There's also a whole management UI & vault system (that could give reasons to raid PD) for the Mayor in this script that I also found from the GMODStore.

Obviously, these scripts would make the Mayor's job way more fun, interactive, and enjoyable.

6. Fix lag pls xddddd

Just jokin', I know there's not much that can fix the timeouts since GMOD servers are always like this, but it's just funny to see the survivor's reactions when this happens to everyone:

Summary

I know these are a lot of things to suggest, but honestly I think these are needed changes (except #6 lol) as the experience on our server can be greatly improved & more fun with some new features to the server. I love our community and I especially love the ones who created and maintain this community to this day. From the Staff team to the Developers & Owners, I thank and commend you for bringing this community to where it is today.

2. -/+ there was one but it put wayyyy too much stress on the server, so noob removed it within a day.

We used to have number 5. on the server imo i like having that, im not sure why it got removed but theres prob a reason
