What Does It Mean?
> When you are stuck on "Steam Authenticating" part of the loading screen, it means that the Steam Servers you are connecting through are offline or under maintenance.
> This is not an issue you will be able to fix. You will have to wait until steam servers are back online.
If you want to know when to rejoin, you can either check the steam server status or continually rejoin until you're able to connect.
How to Check Steam Server Status
> Go to > Check the server status for the region you are closest to.
Note: Typically, Steam servers will be down for scheduled maintenance around 3-5pm EST on Tuesdays.
