Server move suggestion

Hi all,

I play in europe and due to the size of the server and scope of the playerbase I would request that the server be moved to an east coast USA location to accomodate for EU players.

Probably been suggested before of course but playing with min 215-300 ping is quite taxing.

Let me know what you think and feel free to close this out or explain the location to me

The average real latency from Europe is ~100ms however the ping GMod reports while in-game is wildly inaccurate and is dependent on many more thing then actual latency such as server load/tickrate/playercount. For instance my real ping to AtomicRP is ~10ms however in-game it is reported as 150-300ms.

As for the moving of the server location, Chicago is a central location for North America where the vast majority of the players are located as it is a US server so I don't foresee moving the server location anytime soon.
